Brief summary of the item: Pontiac's may look sporty, and mean, but in reality their proformance lacks. Good Points: Sure, the car has pick-up-in-go when you need it, depending on which engine (mine is V6) you pick. The seats are comfortable, and the stereo equipped (factory) is pretty awesome. It hit harder than my old car, and it had subs and an amp. Bad Points: Bad points? Where to begin? Tires, we'll start from the bottom and work our way up. The type of tires that comes on Grand Am's are Goodyear Eagles, which are THEE most expensive directional tires you can buy. The knock-off brand is about 150-200 dollars a pop, imagine how much the real tires would cost. Next is, on the side of the car, the black portion of the car (where the side windows are), the paint comes off quite frequently. We have had to get it painted twice now because the paint does not stick. Another thing is, my car was wrecked when we bought it, and apparently, several things go out often: Alternator Radiator Oh, yeah, the most expensive thing, Head gaskets. Plus, if you get the coupe (2 dr), good luck getting in the back seat. General Comments: Let me just tell you, I had good gas mileage. Along side the road. User reviews
