Brief summary of the item: The latest Potter jape on the biggest screen in 100 miles, and with 3D scenes! Good Points: Luna Lovegood. Very well cast and a frankly adorable performance. They also picked Tonks and Dudley (as a brainless chav) very well. 3D climax of the film is mind blowing. It's very involving in 3D and you feel like reaching out and giving Luna that hug she so deserves. Excellent perspective and truly immersing. The battle between Dumbledore and Voldemort is face melting, especially with the audience trying to avoid the flashbolts! Bad Points: The whole film isn't in 3D, but I imagine this would have been ludicrously expensive. The film moves at a reasonable pace, as with the other films some key scenes have been ignored but since I haven't read the book for a while, this worked fine for me. Lots of Potter afficionados will be disappointed again. General Comments: Why settle for a flat screen? The 3D experience is dramatically different and so, so much more impressive. They can be a little plasticy (?) at times and only a short climactic section of the film is 3D, but worth the £8.50 ticket price. Seats plenty comfortable enough, surround sound the best I've heard yet. User reviews
