Relevant Information: A top quality telescopic ladder Brief summary of the item: The Xtend & Climb pro is a sturdy, general use ladder which will telescope (I'd better not say 'collapse') down to about 70cm tall, and extend as far as you want, up to 3.8Metres. It's aluminium and designed to be carried in the boot of your car, or in a cupboard, but it's still solid enough to be used industrially. It's rated for 150KG of payload, way more than my measly 55KG, and the ladder weighs 12KG. I've so far used it as a loft ladder and to repair some outdoor windows, but it'll come in extremely useful when I'm trucking around the town centre working on the Christmas Fayre too. No smashing pedestrians around the head in the street, much as I want to! There's even a padded cushion designed into the stowing strap, so it's comfortable to carry. I bought mine from Midlandladders.net for £134 delivered. It was delivered by Midland Ladders themselves, and I even got a phone call before they arrived. Good Points: It does everything it claims to. Very solid construction, excellent finish. Chunky, squared-off steps with grips. Non-slip rubber feet which really do feel reliable even in the wet. Excellent service from Midlandladders.net. Rung locks are very nicely designed and simple to use, the instructions are very clear about keeping your pinkies away from the rungs when collapsing it down! No plug-in safety pins to faff around with, just pull the rung out until it clicks. Press the buttons and it slides cleanly together. Bad Points: None whatsoever. £134 very well spent. General Comments: It really does feel solid and is outstanding quality. I had no hesitation in climbing right to the top the minute I got it out of the packaging, it inspires confidence. I can carry it up and down the stairs, something you just can't do easily with a fixed length ladder. I'm very pleased. User reviews
