Description
Brief summary of the item: A solid, meaty replica of the classic North American Police service pistol. It's driven by a 12g Co2 capsule hidden in the grip where you'd expect to find the magazine, which is an 8-shot rotating type. Adjustable notch sights, full weight and no chance of telling it from the real thing. Good Points: Very solid construction, it really does ooze quality. Excellent finish on the metals, well milled and not the slightest rattle. Trigger action is smooth, discharge is smooth, capsule loading is very neat. It also seems fairly accurate, aided by double cocking action if you feel like a shorter trigger travel. The safety catch matches the real 92FS. Bad Points: Weighs a ton! Your arm gets tired quickly but it's a hell of a lot of fun - you won't stop shooting until you get rid of a full tin of pellets. You have to remove the grip to insert the Co2 cartridge which makes it a bit difficult to hold. Slide release is a bit harsh too, it springs open a bit too readily. General Comments: Wow. Not the most powerful air pistol at ~380FPS , especially when compared to my (much) cheaper Gamo PT80 which tops 400. It does live up to the price tag however (I paid around £180 with a mock silencer about six years ago) with the sheer quality of construction. It's of course semi automatic so you can empty the magazine as fast as you can pull the trigger. User reviews
