Brief summary of the item: A reasonable size no-frills hotel in a prime location in central Brum. Part of the Accor Hotels chain with sites in the major cities of the world. Good Points: VERY clean and tidy, spartan but well furnished rooms with everything you could need. Secure car parking, secure rooms, security guards on hand all day, self-service cafeteria... Excellent fittings in the en-suite toilets, WiFi available in the public areas. Nice european pine-and-stainless styling. Rooms have TV's and mains points, and heating. Bad Points: The toilet is a wet-room but the floor is level, so the shower tended not to drain! General Comments: £35 a night! Per double room, not per person! The rooms bear some resemblance to the Formule1 hotels found in France, but without shared facilities. Sounds too good to be true but we stayed for 5 days with no complaints. Couldn't ask for more in a hotel. The Raddisson just up the street want £160 per night per person, for what?! User reviews
