General Comments: I love my Sony walkman. I think I should start off by saying that. I love the sound I get out of it, the battery lasts for around 7 hours solid play and charges up really quickly (arounbd 1 hour). You can do all the standard mp3 player stuff like creating playlists, searching by artist, album, track. It hasn't got video support but I didn't want that. I only want to listen music on it.

What I hate about this product is Sonys Sound Stage software. It makes you convert everything to ATRAC format. There is nothing wrong with this format but it means I have to have the MP3 and the ATRAC files on the same PC. It is also really slow writing the songs from the PC to the player. Sometimes it will corrupt halfway through putting songs on meaining I have to format the players drive and put all 2000 tracks back on, this takes around 3 hours.

In short great player but absolutely terrible software almost ruins it
