Relevant Information: DVB-T STB with DVI Out
Brief summary of the item: Don’t buy an expensive DVB-T Television for your caravan if you already have a decent flat screen LCD display on your computer! I’ve just purchased a Digital / Analogue Set Top Box that I can plug directly into my Samsung SyncMaster 225BW PC monitor. There’s no need for the PC to be connected.

It has a multitude of connections that include DVI in and out, S-Video in and out and Composite video in and out. It is capable of putting out resolutions up to a massive 1920 x 1200 and can cope with 4:3, 16:9 and 16:10 aspect ratios. It has even got Picture in Picture, providing you input more than one source. It drives my wide screen display at it’s native 1680 x 1050 resolution and the picture is fantastic.

The unit, which comes with a separate power supply and remote control is only 115 x 180 x 25 mm and weighs less than 1kg.

Bad Points: If you don’t have DVI on your monitor don’t worry you can buy a DVI to D-Sub adaptor for a couple of quid!
General Comments: An excellent product that gives first class results.
