Brief summary of the item: It's years into the future and real music is dead - instruments are banned, and all music is digitally produced by Globalsoft. However, the past is not forgotten and there are Bohemians living underground, waiting for a prophesised dreamer to come along and help them find their rhapsody.
Good Points: Where to start - the fact that it's completely full of Queen songs? The quick wit of Ben Elton? The fact that you can buy a glow stick and wave it around in the air??? The atmosphere in this show is just amazing, and you'll be dancing by the end!
Bad Points: It can be argued that the plot is weak...but I don't actually think that's the whole point of this musical!
General Comments: Fantastic show, great atmosphere, amazing songs - and the first time I saw it Brian May came on stage and performed! WOOHOO!
