Good Points: Clever plots, interesting characters, and it (mostly) eschews the all-too-straightforward "good" and "bad" ideas. Everyone has their own motivations, but not too many are truly good or bad.
Bad Points: The basic story is a fairly generic cliché, a few of the episodes' plots were really not very good, and some of the camera work was sloppy (a number of espisodes have visible reflections/ghosting from some kind of protective glass sheet in front of the camera). And it's too short: only 14 episodes were created (a normal full season is 20-24), and of those, only 11 were aired on TV - and in the wrong order.
General Comments: An awesome TV show was canceled by Fox to make room for this good TV show. Then, they didn't even give this show a full season to catch on before canceling it. This series deserves a chance, and anyone who enjoys science fiction action is likely to enjoy this series.

Good Points: The stunts. The fight scenes. You'll come away from this movie in awe of Tony Jaa's (Panom Yeerum's) ability to pull off incredible stunts. In the tradition of Jackie Chan, he's doing it all himself, and he's not using wires, CGI, or anything else - just his absolutely incredible athletic ability. I think I watched the initial "fight" scene (it's not much of a fight, because the other guy is so outclassed) five or six times in a row during my first viewing.
Bad Points: This is just about the absolute WORST movie you'll ever see. The plot is paper thin, not remotely believable, and is one big cliché. The acting is atrocious. The dialog is terrible, and the English subtitles are presumably even worse (some aspects of the plot synopsis don't come across at all in the translation). The story is full of holes and discontinuity. The protective equipment for the stunts is very poorly hidden. The movie has a very amateurish feel to it.
General Comments: You'd think that the bad outweighs the good from what was said above, but this movie is incredible fun, and I highly recommend it. You won't believe the story, you probably won't be able to fully follow the story, and you won't care about many of the characters, but you'll have a lot of fun watching the spectacle. You'll be engrossed in the incredible displays of expert choreography, acrobatics, and finesse.
Simply put, this is Martial Arts Pornography. It exists for one reason - to excite and entertain through fights and stunts. The plot, acting, dialog, etc, are tossed in to loosely piece the rest together, but they really don't matter, and they're definitely not why you'll want to watch this movie.
