Relevant Information: Based on the hit TV series 24 Brief summary of the item: Here is a complete report from the closed hearings of the House Special Subcommittees, whom have investigated the longest day of Special Agent Jack Bauer's life. It includes Jack Bauer's complete Grand Jury testimony, David palmer's interview statements, internal prosecution memos, autopsy reports, and previously sealed files. Good Points: The majority of this book is Jack Bauer's testimony of his actions throughout the 24 hour period. It allows you to recall the first season of 24, whilst finding out extra information at the same time. It includes a report on Jack Bauer's mission 'Operation Nightfall' which played a vital part in the first season of 24. In the TV series you don't find out much about it, but this book gives you details on the authorization of the mission, what happened during the mission, and what went wrong. It is definitely a good insight into why 24 'Day 1' started. The report also answers questions such as 'Why did Jamey Farrell betray CTU?' and 'What happened to Elizabeth Nash?'. Bad Points: In the testimonies of the agents they use a lot of acronyms and abbreviations which you may not understand, but fortunately there is a glossary at the back with full explanations to things like FBI, CIA, HALO, etc. General Comments: This is an excellent book to read if you have watched the first season of 24 and are interested to know what happened in 'Operation Nightfall' to cause the days events. It is a great way to recall what happened in the season and to get some answers to a few questions. User reviews
