Relevant Information: Author: Will Davies Brief summary of the item: Jaz is 16, gay and telling his story with no apologies. He has a self-centred mother, a weak-willed father, a pious sister (AKA, The Nun) and his Grandma, his only ally. When he meets Jon at the only gay club that will let him in, his already complicated life takes a new turn. Good Points: This is an amusing book, and if you can remember being a dysfunctional teenager, you should be able to relate at least a little bit! I liked the way he tells the story out of order (because it's his story, so he CAN) and enjoyed his sarcasm/sense of humour. Bad Points: Jaz talks like a lot of teenagers in London that i've heard...and it gets quite annoying at times! As it's first person, you get that style the whole way through - but as long as you can get past it, it doesn't matter. General Comments: Funny and appealing (though perhaps not to everyone). One of the few books I've read with a gay protagonist, and I felt it was done quite well. User reviews
