Description
Brief summary of the item: "real-life adventures inside an inner city ambulance" This book is written by famous blogger Tom Reynolds, an Emergency Medical Technician for the London Ambulance Service. It's funny, moving and gives you some perspective. Good Points: The guy's nothing short of a hero. Tom's character is well documented in the book and his blog, randomreality.blogware.com and nobody-but-nobody can argue that he's much more compassionate than you could imagine an ambulance tech could be. It's a well-written diary and some entries can be gut-wrenching (see 'Bad Job') A great insight into the life of the hardworking lifesavers we take for granted. Bad Points: None. The only bad things are the drunks, tramps and pillheads EMT's have to spend the majority of their shift dealing with. General Comments: My sister read this book, and instantly joined the St. John Ambulance service. User reviews
